When grass is treated with FlightControl Plus, geese who feed on the grass experience a safe but effective intestinal reaction. The geese are not harmed, but when the grass makes them sick they become conditioned to avoid treated areas. These treated areas have a UV component that is visible to geese (but not humans). Geese are able to recognize treated areas with these visual cues acting as a warning that your grass is not good to eat, and they will seek out other food sources.

How Do Geese Respond to FlightControl Plus?

After eating treated grass, geese may respond by shaking their heads, rubbing their necks, and pecking their bellies. They will likely continue to sample the area several times as the conditioning process sets in, taking breaks between feedings to drink water.
